Cat Sorter VR

Role: Balancing/ system design, playtesting/tuning, game design documentation, art asset import pipeline. Also social media announcements and planning live events to showcase the game.

Cat Sorter VR is a title that was released in 2017 on the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. This is the first VR project I've been a part of, an area that I am fascinated by and want to definitely get more involved in.

Developed by a small studio called Pawmigo, my role on this project was initially design, tuning and balance, in order to tighten up the game and help polish it for launch.

It being a small team, I actually took on a variety of tasks in addition to design, including, brainstorming new mechanics and new systems for cat part spawning, points, and conveyor belt speed, assisting with the art asset pipeline, overseeing and gathering feedback from playtesting of the game, as well as helping manage some of the initial press and social media announcements for the game.
