About Me

Hello, my name is Jeremy Jung, and I am a game designer. I started playing video games at the age of 4 on the Atari 2600 and original NES, and have been hooked on the phenomenon of video games ever since. However, even beyond simply playing video games, I have been fascinated by the way games work and how they are designed. My dream is to take my own ideas for new mechanics, new systems, and new stories, and develop them into games that others can enjoy.

Hailing from my hometown of Arcadia, CA., I attended the University of Southern California in 2004 and graduated in 2008 with a bachelors degree in Communication, and a minor in Video Game Design and Management.

I also lived in Orlando, FL for a year and a half, and attended the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (FIEA), a graduate game development program that is part of the University of Central Florida. I graduated in 2010 with a master’s degree in Interactive entertainment.

I have worked at several different companies in the video games industry including, Vivendi Games, Blizzard Entertainment, an Indie studio called Intrinsic games, and High Moon Studios. Most recently, I worked as both a game designer and an internal QA tester at Night School Studio, on their most recent title, Afterparty. My responsibilities included scripting triggered sequences and cutscenes, hooking up animation, dialog, sounds, music and other assets, and fixing/polishing sections of the game. Prior to that, I worked as a level designer at Disney Interactive studios, part of the the Disney Mobile “Creature Feep” Team. During my time there, I worked on several App Store #1 titles in the popular “Where’s My?” series of mobile games including Where’s My Water?, Where’s My Perry?, Where’s My Mickey?, and Where’s My Water? 2.

Aside from developing and playing games, my other interests include watching anime and other cartoons, sci-fi, fantasy, and martial arts movies, reading comics. I consider myself a fan of various types of geekery.  So that’s a little bit about me. Thanks so much for visiting Jerworks.com and checking out my projects.

Best Regards,

Jeremy Jung
